Wintringham on Wheels
11am to 3pm on Saturday, 26 September on Wintringham School Plaza
Bring the whole family along for a day of cycling, active travel and fun, with smoothie bikes, a bubble bike, pedal-powered Scalextrics and a range of bikes to try, including e-bikes, cargo bikes and tandems.
There’ll also be BMX demonstrations, a mini BMX course for children, bike servicing and marking, plus plenty of opportunities to find out more about getting around Wintringham by bike, bus or on foot.
Smarter Journeys will be there with cycling and walking maps, Liftshare information, local bus information and LocalGO leaflets, as well as personalised travel planning sessions and active travel freebies, including bike lights and bike seat covers.
Plus, grab a coffee from the coffee truck or treat yourself to an ice cream from the ice cream van.
Wintringham Residents' Association
Wintringham Residents have set up a Residents' Association with the support of Urban&Civic and are looking for people to get involved. They have also created a helpful FAQ for more detailed questions from broadband to bins, for when residents move in.
To keep abreast of what’s happening at and around Wintringham, ask questions and raise issues you’d like us to cover, residents are invited to come along to the Community Forum, which takes place from 7.30pm to 9.00pm on the last Thursday of every other month.
