Wintringham will cultivate and support a thriving business community. The employment area will include a landscaped business park, small-scale employment around the district and local centre targeted at innovative and creative industries, and lighter clean industrial units to the south of the site, with good access to the regional transport network.
Archaeology
Early evidence suggests that Wintringham has been home to a variety of different people throughout the ages - dating back as far as the Neolithic period (c.4000 – 2200 BC). Our archaeologists will be investigating and documenting the site to help us better understand how our ancestors lived and worked the land.

Let`s help our hedgehog friends now that they have come out of hibernation. We can all play a part by creating hedgehog highways, making it easier and safer for them to move around. 🦔
It`s important to have a conversation with your neighbour before making a hole in a boundary fence or wall. Please refrain from blocking any holes that your house builder has already created. These holes are usually about 130mm x 130mm in size and are at ground level. They are perfect for hedgehogs to pass through but too small for other pets. Let`s help our spiky little friends out this #HedgehogAwarenessWeek.

Melita, a former British Army Soldier, will serve you with a smile from the van. She was inspired by the sense of community that a cup of coffee can create and decided to bring that warmth home. Leaving her military career behind, she established Perky Beans mobile coffee van in September 2023.

We`re bringing a coffee barista service to Wintringham as of Friday, April 19th!
Perky Beans will be setting up outside of Wintringham Primary Academy every Monday and Friday from 8:30-1:30pm. They will be serving hot drinks and sweet treats from their mobile van so please do come along and indulge in a delicious cup of coffee. ☕️
The coffee beans used in the drinks are locally sourced from Coffee World in Cambridge. In addition, they also provide decaf and oat milk options. 🎉
Please remember to bring your reusable cups along to help protect the environment. ♻️
